When you grow old, chances are, you’ll have some sort of health issue such as heart disease, osteoporosis, or a stroke, especially if you belong to a family that has a history of suffering from such ailments. As unfortunate as it sounds, strokes are one of the most common among old people. A Facebook user in the name of Roj Villarante encountered a man in Araneta Center, Cubao who he claims has suffered a stroke.
He accompanied his status with a video of the man and appealed to everyone who saw the post to help him. According to Villarante, the man’s name is Bien Benido Corbita and he came from Bohol.He wanted to go back to the province to seek medication for his sickness. Villarante narrated that the man has relatives in Novaliches but unfortunately, according to the man, they have unpleasant attitudes.
The man used to be a taxi driver before but now, he has no money with him. The whole of his right arm is extremely swollen and he suffered a stroke that caused him to have difficulty speaking. Apart from that, he doesn’t have any clue on where to go. Villarante appealed for the public to help Bien so that he could safely go to their province or at least, seek medical help.
As of this writing, his post has already garnered 163 likes from netizens and around 568 shares on other people’s timelines. Villarente included Bien’s basic information in a picture and claimed that the man is currently 38-years-old. He is a resident of Tagbilaran, Bohol. He also uploaded a video which showed him interviewing Bien, who was evidently having a hard time to speak.
He did not provide any information on what specific affliction or medical condition the man was suffering from. He only indicated that Bien suffered a stroke and has an extremely swollen right arm.
